The Church in Business

It has been long established that the Church is not a corporate business, but it does have a business side to it. The maintenance of the building and delivery of the various ministries cost a lot of money, some of which we endeavour to recuperate through the business arm of the Church.

Cathedral of Praise occupies a strategic high street location – offering easily accessible and flexible facilities, making it the ideal place for many events. Having been modernised with a state-of-the-arts presentation, upgraded equipment, excellent meeting rooms and an executive boardroom, the amenity ensures that any small to a medium-size event can be adequately and comfortably hosted.

The Facilities We Offer Include:

  • Use of the main auditorium, which seats over 600 people.
  • The Church Hall (with seating capacity of 120; tables and chairs provided).
  • Five small meeting rooms, which accommodate up to 20 people each.
  • Executive conference/boardroom for 8 people.
  • An in house bookshop (a variety of books, CDs and DVDs available, or may be ordered).
  • A fully fitted industrial kitchen for private and commercial use.  

With our in-house caters we can provide a wide range of Caribbean, English or European menus at a competitive cost, and would be happy to design a customised menu to suit your requirements.

Conditions Apply: A policy statement for ethical usage of our facilities –  including no smoking, no alcohol, safe environment for children, young people and vulnerable adults – is  in place.

Equipment Available for Use Mainly in the Auditorium:

  • Musical equipment
  • Corporate display and information
  • Multi-media displays on our AV system
  • Power point presentation
  • Loop system – a sound enhancement system for people with impaired hearing.
  • Flip charts, overhead projection and other teaching aids etc.

Furthermore, there is full low level disability access to the facilities, in a safe and clean environment: wheelchair access with assistance, and entrances for mobility impaired walkers. Large print information is available by request. Unrestricted on the road parking is available.
