Aims and Objectives

Aims and objectives are invariably linked, and the differences are not always clear. Aims are the changes we hope to achieve by God’s grace enabling us. Our objectives are the activities we plan to undertake, and the services we intend to implement, in order to achieve these changes.

To put it quite simple, our aims and objectives are to strive for excellence; aspiring to be a powerful church with a difference. We endeavour to be relevant to the contemporary needs of humanity; demonstrating God’s love and mercy through service, and creating a friendly, hospitable and spiritual environment conducive to the highest praise of Almighty God.

  • Developing a relevant 21st century church with a difference; a people-oriented, Bible-based community, modelling Jesus Christ.
  • Celebrating God’s presence in highest praise and dynamic worship.
  • Proclaiming God’s Word, demonstrating God’s power, and empowering God’s people.
  • Equipping and edifying believers for the work of the Lord – embracing the five-fold ministry: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers.
  • Being committed to Kingdom faith, principles and practices as a lifestyle
  • Transcending cultural limitations and traditional barriers to reach all people with the life-changing gospel of Christ
  • Creating and cultivating a healthy church environment through love, unity and fellowship.
  • Building confident, committed and effective leaders.
  • Informing and transforming our youth.
  • Valuing and empowering the men and women in our Church.
  • Striving for professionalism and excellence in the delivery of our ministries.
  • Mobilising our Church for ministry and mission.
  • Committing ourselves to the expansion and growth of our Church. Evangelising and impacting the wider community for Christ.
  • Being committed to provide educational, social and spiritual development for our people, including mentoring opportunities and disability awareness.
  • Developing our Church building to provide a variety of safe and reliable services, pertinent to our corporate vision.
  • Providing the mechanisms and opportunities for meaningful and effective engagement with community.
  • Securing additional premises to facilitate external community projects, including an internet cafe and recording studio primarily for our young people.
  • Setting up satellite churches and exploring business opportunities with a Kingdom mentality.

The Lord said, “Write down the vision and make it clear that whoever reads it can run and tell others” (Habakkuk 2:2, NCV).  “Nothing great has ever been achieved except by those who dared to believe something inside them was superior to circumstances” – Bruce Barton.
